About the Role:
We are a Residential Building Company and are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee our residential projects from Start to Final completion Stage. The ideal candidate will possess a holistic approach, considering all aspects of construction development to ensure optimal project outcomes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Project Management onsite to assist in directing all trades, materials supplies and orders design coordination, planning, development application, construction tender selection, budget management, and contract assessment. As the Construction Project Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. We specialise in Restoration works, Renovations, Extensions of all existing houses, Terraces, as well as High End and custom Homes as well as Other types of Budget builds etc. Double Storeys, Duplexes, Single storey and renovations
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of residential construction projects, from initial planning to project completion.
Liase with Head Office staff including Building Designers / Principal and more
Hands On Project management to assist and have a good eye for detail to ensure no defects possible etc
Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Manage project budgets, cash flow projections, and procurement processes.
Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
Provide regular updates and reports to the General Manager on project status and performance metrics.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction project management.
Must have a FULL NSW VALID Builders Licence as its a must to become a nominated site supervisor if need be on the journey together
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software
Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
Experience in both development and construction phases of residential projects is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Professional demeanour with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
