About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Production Manager to oversee our in-house fabrication and project production processes. This senior role focuses on leading workshop operations and project production

You’ll work closely with our Project Managers, Workshop Manager, and QA Officer to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Manage workshop operations, scheduling, and job prioritisation using the Business Management System (BMS)

Mentor and support the fabrication team to meet production targets

Oversee fabrication and production timelines to align with project deadlines

Maintain compliance with internal Quality Assurance (QA) systems and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)

Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure projects meet specifications, budgets, and quality expectations

Manage supplier ordering and delivery logistics to maintain project schedules

Support recruitment, training, and development of production staff

Drive continuous improvement across workshop and production processes

Maintain strong communication between fabrication, project, and administrative teams

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Production, Fabrication, or Operations Management role (structural steel background highly regarded)

Proven leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Strong understanding of quality control and fabrication workflows

Ability to manage multiple projects in a busy environment

Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction, or project management (desirable)
