About the role

Weiya Group, a leading property development and investment firm, is seeking a talented Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a part-time role based in our Norwest, NSW office, offering you the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our diverse property portfolio.

What you'll be doing

Manage the end-to-end development process for designated commercial and retail property projects

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to oversee project planning, design, and construction

Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Identify and mitigate potential risks, implementing effective strategies to address them

Provide regular progress updates to senior management and clients

Contribute to the continued growth and innovation of Weiya Group's property development activities

What we're looking for

Significant experience (8+ years) in property development, preferably within the retail and commercial sectors

Proven track record of successfully managing complex property development projects from conception to completion

Excellent understanding of the property development lifecycle, including planning, design, construction, and leasing

Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance financial, operational, and stakeholder considerations

Proficient in project management methodologies and the use of relevant software tools

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse teams

A degree in civil engineer, construction management, or a related field is preferred
