Role Overview:
The Assistant Development Manager will support the Development Manager in the coordination of various aspects of the project, including design, planning, consultant management, and project delivery. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently and in line with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the coordination and management of development projects, including feasibility studies, budget monitoring, and consultant appointments.
- Support the design development and town planning stages, ensuring all regulatory and project-specific approvals are obtained.
- Participate in consultant and contractor selection processes and manage relationships with various project stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation of marketing materials, sales strategies, and the overall branding of development projects.
- Coordinate project reporting, including budget updates, project timelines, and client communications.
- Monitor the quality of work during construction, ensuring compliance with design standards and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with the Development Manager on project documentation, procurement strategies, and value management initiatives.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Property, Construction, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in property development or project management.
- Strong understanding of development processes, including design, planning, and construction phases.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and project feasibility assessments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, with a good understanding of local building regulations and approval processes.
