What our new HR Coordinator looks like…

We’re looking for a HR Coordinator (referred to externally as HR Associate)– someone with foundational post-qualification HR experience who’s keen to grow in a generalist HR consulting environment. You’ll work closely with our Consultants and Directors on project delivery, client coordination, and internal initiatives. You’ll have a mix of autonomy and structured support, making this role ideal for an early-career professional looking to build their skills across multiple sectors and contexts.

It is also a unique opportunity to grow your professional exposure across the HR profession in WA.

Key Responsibilities include:

Supporting consultants with delivery of HR services across a wide range of clients and sectors.

Drafting high-quality HR correspondence and documents including position descriptions, contracts policies, procedures and other documents.

Providing hands-on assistance with recruitment, including preparing job ads, managing workflows, coordinating interviews, and liaising with candidates and clients.

Assisting with client meetings, including background research, document preparation, and follow-up actions.

Conducting research and contributing to the development of HR frameworks, proposals, and client reports.

Maintaining and updating internal templates, resources, and project systems.

Supporting client communications such as newsletters, HR updates, and brand activities (e.g., social media content, website updates).

Participating in internal planning, learning, and development sessions as part of a collaborative team environment.

What we’re looking for

1. A degree in human resources, law, psychology, business, or a related field.

2. Some post-qualification experience in an HR role (or a combination of internships, placements, and paid work), with some knowledge of generalist HR tasks such as recruitment, employee support, and documentation.

3. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and audience awareness.

4. Great organisational skills and the ability to juggle tasks, deadlines, and client needs.

5. A proactive mindset – someone who’s happy to take initiative and ask questions to learn and improve.

6. Confidence using technology and tools like Microsoft Office, Asana, SharePoint or similar systems.

The role and what we offer

This is a full-time role, with time split between our West Perth office, client offices, and working from home. We’re open to flexible work arrangements, including part-time hours or school-friendly schedules for the right candidate.

You’ll also enjoy:

Mentoring and coaching from skilled, supportive colleagues within a collaborative, learning-centred environment.

Team Development & Career Program with a focus on building capability in human resources, industrial relations, as well as consulting skills.

Annual professional development allowance of up to $1000 to attend agreed professional development opportunities aligned to your experience and career goals (i.e., conferences, paid courses, etc).

Generous additional leave - 5 weeks annual leave (including 3 days of Christmas leave and birthday leave), to support wellbeing throughout the year.

Access to flexible working hours and genuine work–life balance.

How to apply

Submit a brief cover letter format outlining why you are the best person for the role.

Submit a resume including your contact details, education, previous work and the names of at least two current referees.

The closing date is Thursday 29 May, however appointments may be made before this date. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
