About the Role
The Albion Hotel Casterton, a well-established venue in the heart of Western Victoria, is seeking multiple experienced chefs to join its dynamic kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a locally renowned hotel, offering fresh regional produce and a high standard of food service in a beautiful country setting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a wide variety of high-quality dishes aligned with seasonal menus

Assist with the development of menus that highlight local ingredients and contemporary flavours

Oversee kitchen operations and ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards

Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control

Work collaboratively with the front-of-house and management team to deliver an outstanding dining experience

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 12 months of full-time experience working as a qualified chef (post-qualification)

Trade qualifications (Certificate III, IV in Commercial Cookery and or Diploma) or relevant work experience

Proven ability to perform in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment

Strong organisational and communication skills

Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

Passion for producing high-quality meals with a focus on regional produce

What We Offer

Competitive salary range: $70,000 – $80,000 plus super
