About the Role

Refresco Australia Pty Ltd, a leading beverage manufacturer, is looking for a Planning & Purchasing Assistant to join its team in Bundamba, Queensland. This full-time position is key to supporting procurement and inventory management, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of manufacturing operations.

What You'll Be Doing

Assist the Purchasing Manager in managing the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and other production-related supplies

Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain strong relationships

Monitor inventory levels and generate purchase orders to replenish stock as needed

Collaborate with the production team to forecast and plan for future material requirements

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to purchasing and inventory activities

Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes

The successful applicant will possess the following skills

Completion of Year 10 (or equivalent)

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Proficient in using computers and inventory management systems

Ability to work independently and proactively

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong written and verbal communication skills
