About the role
As the Parts, Fulfilment and Purchasing Coordinator at FS Equipment, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our parts and equipment sales business. In this full-time position based in Hemmant, Queensland, you will be responsible for coordinating the timely flow of critical parts and components for our customers across Australia.
What you'll be doing
Inventory Management - Maintain our physical inventory, keep accurate inventory records and optimise stock levels to meet demand
Parts Interpreting - Understand customer needs, identify correct parts, and provide advice on range, pricing, and availability
Sales Fulfilment - Process customer orders, coordinate logistics, and ensure timely delivery of parts and equipment
Procurement and Purchasing - Take on the procurement and purchasing of parts & consumables needed to fulfil customer orders and internal needs
Ecommerce Content Management - Deliver maximum client visibility of our shop catalogue by utilising our CMS to maintain currency and accuracy of product data
Continuous Improvement - Assist in the development and implementation of improved parts management, fulfilment, and inventory control processes
Team Support - Get to know the key tasks of others in the business to flexibly respond when support is needed
Customer Service - Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients, whether in person, on phone or online
What we're looking for
Experience in (any or all) parts coordination/interpreting, procurement, fulfilment and ecommerce, preferably within the transport, marine, power generation or mining industries
Knowledge of diesel engines and parts, particularly Cummins, would be extremely advantageous
Proficiency with inventory management software and general office software systems
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise internally and externally
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for process improvement
Preparedness for physical elements of the role, including load carrying, a split level work environment and industrial noise
