Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager - Sales at Nippy's Distribution located in Sydney, NSW. The applicant will be responsible for achieving new business targets and onboarding leads in multiple avenues of business. The successful applicant will be a hunter by nature with a keen eye for nurturing and growing new business into long term accounts.
Qualifications
- Sales and account management skills
- Proven experience in account management and new business sales, preferable in a similar industry or role
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Experience in the beverage industry
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of driving revenue growth
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
Responsibilites
- Identify and win new business through cold calling to increase the width and depth of our product distribution
- Execute strategies, business plans and promotional programs
- Management of a set geographic territory of customers
- Utilise systems and data to maximise opportunity(s) within the territory
- Shelf management at store level
- Report to the Managing Directors on weekly/monthly/quarterly sales results
Requirments
- High level of self-motivation and dedication
- Demonstrated FMCG sales experience within Route, P&C or Foodservice highly regarded
- Given the autonomous nature of this role, you're comfortable working independently
- Commercial selling, negotiation, and objection handling skills
- Be comfortable with the use of technology and have an eye for detail
- A valid Australian driver’s license
