About the role

As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be enabling data users to self-serve their own needs and derive insights through quality data reporting. You will develop and manage a portfolio of data sources and reports in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. You will work across various levels of the business, from field sales through to executive management. You will be joining a motivated commercial finance team looking to create value through strong semantic models.

Day to day you will be:

• Part of an exciting, collaborative commercial team, with a clear passion to grow Good Drinks portfolio of drinks.

• Building visually engaging Power BI reports which enable clear insights by stakeholders.

• Helping Good Drinks Australia be data-driven by reporting on business metrics which can highlight performance and create opportunities to improve our growth trajectory and operational processes.

• Collaborating with stakeholders across the whole business to understand their problems and refine our reporting and metrics to shine a light on how we can improve results.

About you

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at partnering with business units to develop insightful and impactful Power BI reporting solutions.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights via Power BI.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M). • Deep understanding of dimensional modelling principles and best practices within Power BI.

• Hands-on experience working with Data Lakes and familiarity with Spark technologies including PySpark and Spark SQL.

• Knowledge in relational database management and proficiency with tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

• Demonstrated capability in connecting to, integrating, and manipulating data from external APIs.

• Confidence navigating Azure environments and leveraging Azure services effectively.

• Exposure in building & developing profit & loss reporting in Power BI.

• Excellent communication skills, with a talent for conveying data-driven insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple data projects and tasks.

• Collaborative mindset, thriving within team-driven environments.

• Relevant industry experience in FMCG, Retail, or Sales environment.

Bonus Points:

• Exposure or experience with Microsoft Fabric or Databricks will be highly regarded.

• Data science related qualifications or experience (desirable)
