The Opportunity

As the Business Intelligence Analyst you will enhance business efficiency by automating reports, supporting regulatory compliance, and providing business performance metrics. You will engage with key stakeholders, gather data develop of business intelligence (BI) tools, and provide analytical support to translate complex requirements into actionable insights & effective business intelligence. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise in data management tools, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams & partnering with operational leads
• Gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
• Developing and maintaining process maps, workflows, and business models.
• Supporting compliance reporting, ensuring adherence to aged care industry regulations.
• Creating Excel, Power BI, SharePoint for business reporting and data visualisation.
• Developing SQL and Microsoft Power queries.
• Ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Identifying trends and performance metrics to support strategic, data driven decision-making.

About you:

Essential

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or Technical Business Intelligence Analyst.
3. Proven experience translating business needs into technical requirements and presenting clear actionable insights and business intelligence.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
5. Strong SQL skills for data analysis, management and reporting.
6. Experience in process mapping, workflow analysis, and business process reengineering.
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
9. Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check clearance (to be obtained during recruitment)

Desirable

• Experience in aged care or healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or other enterprise software solutions.
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or related fields.
