Our client is a privately owned, national business specialising in the manufacturing and wholesale supply of construction and industrial consumables. Their product range includes:

The Position
Due to growth within the sales team and recent internal promotions, our client is seeking an Account Manager for a Western Territory role. This exciting opportunity involves:
- Managing an established portfolio of major accounts in a range of industries
- Complete regular call cycles, building rapport and relationships to increase demand and sales
- Covering areas ranging from the Western Suburbs to Country Victoria
- Meeting clients, managing accounts, and executing sales strategies
- Collaborating with local management to grow the portfolio
This is a Monday-to-Friday position that offers a mix of working from home and travel within your territory.

The Candidate
Our client is open to candidates with any B2B sales background who sell to retailers, hardware customers, wholesalers or distributors. Ideal industries include:
- Fasteners, paint, timber, or plumbing supplies
- Construction products or building hardware
- Power tools, lighting, electrical, or industrial supplies
- Adhesives or other wholesale products
The ideal candidate will:
- Be based in travel distance to Western Melbourne / Western Victoria
- Have strong relationship management skills and have previously managed a territory
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic
- Be autonomous, organized, and results-driven
