POSITION DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNT MANAGER

REPORTS TO: SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

ROCK POSTERS is an independent, Australian-owned entity, with offices and printing facilities in both Sydney and Melbourne. We have been operating for well over 3 decades and retain an Australia-wide distribution network. We provide Out Of Home campaign solutions, including street posters and billboards, for a wide variety of clientele, ranging from this in the music, arts and cultural environments through to the more discerning and progressive clientele who value and understand the unique impact of the street poster environment.

SUMMARY

We have a rich history in the music, entertainment and events sectors and this position is ideally suited to someone who as interested in Melbourne’s thriving music, arts and events scenes. We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

· Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.

· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

· Manage an existing client list & ensure we continue to secure maximum share of media spend from them.

· Build an extensive knowledge of the Rock Poster business & all the available saleable inventory housed within.

· Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives.

· Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

· Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

· Proactively seek out new business to Rock Posters, through qualified prospecting & cold calling techniques.

· Liaise with & build solid relationships with internal departments such as finance & distribution in order to execute campaigns seamlessly.

· Meet & exceed monthly sales targets.

· Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as required.

REQUIREMENTS

· Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role

· Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level

· Solid experience with CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

· Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

· Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail

· Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Positive upbeat attitude
