The Waratah is located in the beating heart of Darlinghurst. We're Australian inspired restaurant and bar, championing NSW producers, produce, people, community and stories. The Waratah is modelled on what we love about Australian F&B; pub culture, First Nations produce, grower to venue relationships and nostalgia.
We are looking for passionate and professional chefs with 2 years of similar experience.
The venue features two different floors/offerings. Downstairs, a busy Public Bar. Upstairs, a 70-seat dining room with a wrap around verandah and rooftop space.
We are looking for chefs who are well versed in kitchen systems, but above all possess a passion for service and the restaurant industry, and want to work with us for a reason.

Employees can expect:
50% staff discount across all current and future venues.
Paid overtime
A 30% share of weekly tips.
Regular supplier visits (growers, farms, etc)

This is a salaried position based on experience, references, interviews and trials, with a package range between $75,000 and $85,000.
