Soden's Hotel is looking for a full-time Sous Chef.

Key Responsibilities:

As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional dishes that reflect the warmth and character of our pub. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the daily management of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Training and supervising kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Adhering to health and safety standards, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Taking a leadership role in the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • A passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team and other staff members.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Reliability is a MUST!

You must be able to follow direction of the Head Chef and be available days, nights and weekends.
