Learning Sphere Training Solutions (LSTS) is a dynamic and rapidly growing, education company based in Parramatta. We specialise in providing innovative learning solutions to enterprises looking to upskill their workforce and reduce their workplace risk. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to join our Sydney team and drive new business growth.

The Role

Reporting to our Head of Growth & Strategy, our Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and building strong relationships with Tier 1-2 enterprise clients across a diverse range of industries. Your primary focus will be on securing new business, fostering long-term partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

While education/RTO experience is not required, preference will be given to candidates with experience or networks in construction, facilities management, manufacturing, supply chain and logistics and hospitality.

Business Development Manager

Based in Parramatta with hybrid work available. Some travel may be required within metropolitan and greater Sydney. This role is ideal for a driven, high-potential sales professional looking to rapidly accelerate their career - offering hands-on mentorship, exposure to strategic deals, and a clear pathway to step into a BD/Sales Lead position as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth by proactively identifying, engaging, and converting Tier 1–2 enterprise clients across key industries.

Lead cold outreach efforts to generate new opportunities, build pipeline, and secure qualified meetings.

Own the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing, ensuring consistent conversion of leads into long-term clients.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders to support retention and upsell opportunities.

Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop tailored solutions aligned with client needs and workforce objectives.

Prepare compelling proposals, lead persuasive presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new business.

Represent Learning Sphere at key industry events, forums, and client meetings to build brand presence and market authority.

What We’re Looking For

3-5 years of proven experience in sales and business development, B2B experience is desired but not essential.

Experience and networks in education, construction, manufacturing, supply chain & logistics, or hospitality are highly desirable.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Familiarity with CRM platforms like HubSpot.

A valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel as needed.
