This is a 12-month fixed-term, part-time opportunity working 3 days each week during the core business hours of 8:00 - 4:00pm onsite in our Southport office.

The Operations Coordinator provides leadership and support to the four operational departments within the Transcord organisational structure. The Team Leaders reporting into the role include Transport, Scheduling, and Bookings. This role also works in a collaborative capacity with Finance, People and Culture, and senior management to ensure that Transcord continues to successfully deliver services to the community. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

The key objectives of this role are to:

Support the management of WHS risk and compliance for the Operations departments, ensuring a safe working environment is monitored and maintained

Support the attraction and retention of volunteers, providing a positive and engaging experience

Experience we are seeking

Cultural fit is very important to us, so we are firstly looking for an enthusiastic team player who draws on previous leadership experience (preferably in a NFP environment) to motivate, mentor, train, and inspire the operational departments whilst working closely with Finance, People and Culture, and Senior Leadership to enhance operational efficiency and successfully deliver outstanding services to the community.

Additionally, ideal candidates will have:

Proven leadership skills to support and assist with monitoring workloads of Team Leaders, and managing workflow to ensure alignment of activities and optimisation of cross-departmental performance

Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to shifting deadlines

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across organisational levels.

Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite with an ability to quickly learn and effectively use Transcord’s Client Management System and other reporting systems

A track record of providing outstanding customer service

Prior experience working with NFP organisations who support a vulnerable client base.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Highly developed problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

It is also a requirement that candidates provide a National Police Check and undertake a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
