We are now seeking a qualified and experienced accountant to work closely with our Finance Manager within the family office in Victoria to support all accounting and finance functions.

THE ROLE & WHY JOIN US
We are seeking a full-time permanent Accountant to join us at Joval. This role offers you:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
As our Accountant, your key responsibilities will include, supporting financial management, reporting, tax compliance, and investment through the provision of accurate and timely financial data, reports and advice. Providing accurate financial oversight, support strategic financial decisions, and enhance the efficiency of accounting processes as well as working closely with the Finance Manager, external accountants, and financial institutions to provide financial insights to stakeholders

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Tax Compliance & Regulatory Reporting

Investment Accounting & Financial Oversight

Cash Flow & Liquidity Management

Process Improvement & Financial Systems Management

Stakeholder & Advisory Support

THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE
With experience in the above areas, you'll be a candidate we want to talk to! If you have experience working with tax, compliance, reporting and analysis we want to see your CV. Experience with XERO is highly regarded, including experience in improving this system. You'll possess the following attributes:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance ore related field (CPA/CA qualification an advantage)
• Experience in an accounting role with a focus on financial reporting and compliance
• Experience in financial analysis, reconciliations and tax compliance
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independetly and collaboratively
• Adaptability to evolve financial strategies and priorities
• Strong proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel

For this 38-hour week role, based in our office in Abbotsford, we will pay a base salary of $80,000 + super.
