Due to an expanding client base, we are looking for junior to mid-level person to become a valued member of the Dtax team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their accounting skills, early in their accounting career or a recent graduate.

What we’re offering:

Salary $70000 to $90,000 plus Super

Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (with flexibility). Note: this is an in-office role located in Bentleigh East

What you’ll be doing:

Assisting in the preparation and filing of individual, company, partnership, and trust tax returns

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and addressing their accounting and tax-related needs

Ensuring compliance to tax laws and regulations

Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in financial records

Reconciliation, preparation and lodgement of business activity statements

What We’re Looking For:

A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting or Finance Or

1-5 years working as a Tax Agent, accountant or Bookkeeper with a willingness to learn tax accounting

Must be available to work during June – September

Experience with accounting software such as MYOB and Xero will be highly regarded

A genuine interest in taxation and a passion for continuous learning

Strong attention to detail and communication skills

A proactive, self-motivated approach to work
