The role

Neater Constructions (Q) Pty Ltd is seeking a talented and driven Business Development Sales Manager to join our team in Cairns, QLD. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and identifying strategic opportunities to expand our presence in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute effective sales strategies to identify, prospect, and convert new business leads

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the construction industry

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate sales efforts and ensure seamless project delivery

Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities

Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs

Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to raise the company's profile

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a new business development or sales management role, preferably within the construction industry

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels

Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of winning new business

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies and campaigns

Proficient in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools to track and optimise performance

Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities

Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as business, marketing, or sales
