The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in equipment finance, civil construction equipment and heavy machinery. Our perfect person will also have a technical background with a solution focused mindset and a strong ability to develop and maintain long term mutually beneficial relationships. The successful candidate will ideally be based in Brisbane, though we are open to considering interstate candidates to find the best person for the role. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and promoting our unique solution.
Duties & Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and execution of growth strategies.
Work autonomously, managing your schedule and client interactions on the road.
Liaise with customers, dealers, and brokers to build and maintain strong relationships.
Stay informed about our products and services, ensuring up-to-date knowledge.
Provide technical and product support to clients, addressing their needs effectively.
Skills and Attributes
Proven experience in a similar customer facing role.
Operations and or project experience is highly regarded.
Strong understanding of the civil, mining, and transport industries.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and budgets.
Ability to build strong rapport with clients at all levels.
Excellent forward-planning, time management, and organizational skills.
Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills.
