The sales Co-ordinator role is a vital link between our customers and our production team, ensuring open and clear communication of customer requirements and specifications, as well as production and delivery capabilities.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Team Leader, who along with the Sales Team, will provide support and training required to be successful in the role.

The responsibilities of the position include:

• Processing sales orders, creating and issuing job documentation to initiate production and delivery as per customer requirements.
• Managing customer communications (as directed by the Team Leader) through clear and courteous transfer of information to all stakeholders.
• Answering customer calls and email enquiries, or channeling them to Sales staff, and others where appropriate.
• Managing and communicating job and quality related information within the internal ERP system, and between internal and external stakeholders.
• Occasional, light manual handling.

The successful applicant will need to display:

• Previous experience in a similar or related role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to organise and manage their time effectively.
• Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook along with ERP or MRP systems knowledge and experience.
• Preference for working in a collaborative team, but able to work independently when required.
• Basic fitness (moderate walking within the production facility, including stairs / occasional lifting and moving of goods up to 12kg)
• A current driver’s license is required.
• Experience and knowledge of flexible packaging will be highly regarded.
