Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Roof Plumbing Estimator to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director & General Manager], the Roof Plumbing Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for a range of projects. The role requires thorough analysis of plans, specifications, and other documentation to ensure competitive and profitable bid proposals. You will collaborate closely with project managers, suppliers, and clients throughout the estimating and tendering process.

Key Responsibilities

Review architectural plans and project specifications to determine scope of work.

Prepare comprehensive cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor services.

Prepare and present detailed bid proposals.

Maintain accurate records of all estimates, bids, and related documentation.

Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements.

Skills and Experience

Proven experience in a roof plumbing estimating role or a related trade.

In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation methodologies.

Strong mathematical, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications.

Certificate III in Roof Plumbing (desirable).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
