About the role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Service Allocator to manage the scheduling of our Service & Care technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our service techs are allocated efficiently, jobs are scheduled promptly, and client needs are met on time. Your role will be vital in coordinating between service teams and clients, helping to maintain Elephants Foot’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily job allocations for service techs, and contractors across various states and sites.
- Manage and track service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of client issues.
- Maintain clear communication with service technicians, contractors, clients, and internal teams.
- Ensure optimal use of resources by balancing team workloads and client requirements.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date reports on job status, resource allocation, and team performance.
- Collaborate with clients to schedule routine and urgent maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
- Support administrative duties, including service documentation, reporting, and updating CRM systems.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company safety standards and client contractual obligations.
About You:
To succeed as a Service Allocator, you should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Experience in service allocation, scheduling, or a similar role within a technical or trade-based industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams effectively.
- Familiarity with Service Management systems such as SimPro and scheduling tools.
- An understanding of the waste management or environmental services industry is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in Office 365 or similar software tools.
