About the role

OBLE Industrial Solutions is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Draftsperson to join our team on a part-time basis at our Landsdale, WA office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design and development of innovative solutions, utilising your expertise in mechanical drafting.

What you'll be doing

Produce detailed drawings and 3D models for a variety of industrial equipment and systems

Collaborate with engineers and company directors to interpret design specifications and requirements

Preparation of parts and general assembly drawings

Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and fitment teams

Stay up-to-date with the latest drafting software, techniques and industry developments

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design and drafting processes

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Mechanical Drafting or a related field

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mechanical Design Draftsperson, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment

Proficient in the use of CAD software such as AutoCAD & SolidWorks

Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials and manufacturing processes

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
