Senior Electrical Designer

Our client, an engineering consultancy company, is looking for a Senior Electrical Designer to join their Perth team.

Project: Mineral Processing projects (gold, copper, lithium, nickel)
Duration: Permanent full-time

The role responsibilities include:

Deliver conceptual designs & detailed engineering drawings that meet the company's, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements - general layouts, process flow diagrams, schematics, terminations, SLD, etc.

Participate in peer reviews, interdisciplinary reviews and consult relevant resources as required and also contribute to the development and improvement of project design systems, processes, practices and procedures (where required).

Communicate effectively and regularly with the project Lead, engineers, other discipline design teams, and Project Engineers/Managers on design progress, technical matters, workshare and resource planning

What you’ll have:

A recognised Electrical Engineering Diploma or equivalent qualifications.

Relevant years of experience in designing and drafting with majority of experience in the mineral processing industry.

MicroStation & AutoCAD 3D is a MUST.

Technically proficient in greenfield & brownfield projects (experience in design from scratch)
