Your new role

As a Design Drafter, you will contribute to our continued success by translating design concepts into accurate technical drawings and facilitating the development of innovative trailer solutions. Specifically you will:

Develop a comprehensive database that covers all stock items, documenting compliance to relevant legislation and specifications.

Create accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks or gather drawings from suppliers, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and legislation.

Assist sales and marketing efforts by creating technical content for products.

Investigate technical issues with stock, collaborating with procurement, warehouse, fabrication, sales, and customers to find resolutions.

About you

This is a fast paced and hands on role so it is essential you have a positive, proactive approach and can work collaboratively with a variety of personalities.

You will be self-motivated individual with a high sense of accountability and a commitment to personal development and growth. Have excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. As well as strong communication skills to provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
