Bognar Drafting Services are on the look out for a HVAC draftsperson to join our team. This role will be remote (working from home) and can be based anywhere in Australia. This is a full-time, permanent role. The ideal candidate would have multiple years of experience providing technical documentation in the HVAC industry.

As a Draftsperson at Bognar Drafting, you would be responsible for:

Working under the direction of the Director, as a Drafter, you would be expected to:-

Plan, prepare and create documentation sets using AutoCAD and Revit in both 2D and 3D to communicate engineering designs or to produce shop drawings to allow for construction and installation of HVAC systems

Review and revise mark-up drawing sets to meet client and company specifications

Update documentation to create as-built documentation to the clients requirements

Produce BIM deliverables based on client requirements (Clash Detection with Navisworks etc)

Interpreting and implementing project managers BIM execution plans

Communicating with the client to problem solve any issues that may arise with the projects.

Working diligently and effectively to meet client deadlines

Completing all tasks to Bognar Drafting Services in house drafting standards

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role candidates must hold the following:-

A tertiary qualification in Drafting or relevant trade experience

A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar HVAC Drafting role

Proficient in the use of AutoCAD & Autodesk Revit program as well as strong computing skills in the Microsoft Office Suite;

Time management and organizational skills with the ability to work to deadlines

Be a self-starter with attention to detail

Be able to work autonomously and in a team environment

Proven work history in a commercial and flexible environment

Excellent communicator both written and verbal

Drivers licence
