We have an exciting role in our Acacia Ridge depot for a hands on and experienced Operations Manager.

The Position:

You will be supported while joining our committed & growing team, bringing your skills and experience to manage and contribute to the execution of all transportation and logistics services within our region. This is a long term, full time position that requires flexibility and an unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe and compliant operation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for.

Ensuring safety is at the forefront of everything we do, every day.

Provide a high standard of verbal and written service to internal and external personnel with clear communication skills.

Ensure timely and effective scheduling of transport operations within the confines of the companies BFM/HACCP accreditations.

Ensure equipment is maintained to our already high standards and presented to the highest level.

Ensuring resources are effectively and efficiently managed to meet operational requirements.

Drive customer satisfaction and maximize resources through effective decision-making and fleet optimization.

Ensuring the positive team culture is represented throughout the operation on a day-to-day basis.

People management, including development and training.

To be successful you will possess the following skills and experience.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Previous experience with bulk carrying services. (Road based transport).

Above average computer literacy skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office

Reliable, flexible and team orientated.

Above average attention to detail.

Sound knowledge of Basic fatigue management, mass management, WH&S standards and other relevant transport compliance Acts and Regulations.

Willingness to succeed with a solutions based approach.
