W Brisbane located at 81 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring a Director of Marketing. This position plays a key role in shaping the brand’s identity and driving its success through creative and strategic marketing initiatives. You will assist in managing guest experience, tour flow and external vendor relationships while leading the marketing team to exceed departmental and hotel performance goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Director of Marketing, you will:

Develop and execute strategic marketing plans

Ensure consistency across all communication channels

Analyse competitive intelligence to enhance future strategies

Source and facilitate influencer stays, along with creating social media content in collaboration with the culinary team, bar team and other departments

Drive and manage the hotel social media strategy

Demonstrate a considered focus on the hotels’ sustainability and environmental elements

Implement and maintain a 12-month marketing calendar for both food & beverage and the Hotel

Champion PR, Communications and Marketing activities within the business units

Professionally manage supplier relationships such as print, web and design agencies

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel industry is highly regarded

University qualification in Business, Hospitality or Marketing

Proven success in leading and developing teams

Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills

Results driven with strong influencing skills

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into profitable action

Strategic orientation with the know how to problem solve under pressure

Deep understanding of Beverage and Food trends, particularly within the luxury lifestyle markets and signature restaurant markets
