Gybe Consulting is currently partnering with a growing renewable energy company who’ve been operating for over a decade on impactful projects across Australia and Japan. Working as part of a a small, close-knit team passionate about creating a cleaner energy future, this role is perfect for a proactive Marketing Assistant eager to help them amplify their message and drive their marketing forward.

The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, this newly available role offers a blend of hands-on marketing activity and executive-level support. You’ll play a central role in shaping the company’s LinkedIn presence, staying across industry trends, and preparing client-ready presentations and communications.

The Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule engaging content across their LinkedIn page that showcases their mission and projects
• Monitor post performance and audience engagement, and provide insights on how they can boost visibility and reach
• Support the growth of their online community by interacting with followers and broadening their digital presence
• Conduct desktop research into renewable energy trends, government policies, technologies, and competitors
• Provide valuable context for their business planning and investor communications through well-summarised insights
• Develop visually polished PowerPoint presentations for client meetings, board updates, and investor briefings
• Format and edit reports, marketing materials, and branded content to ensure they’re professional and on-brand
• Contribute creative ideas for content across internal and external channels
• Assist their Director in coordinating marketing meetings, following up on actions, and keeping projects on track
• Manage agendas, capture key action points, and maintain timelines and trackers to support marketing operations
• Help ensure marketing efforts stay organised, on schedule, and aligned with their overall business objectives

The Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role
• Familiarity with LinkedIn marketing and digital content planning
• Confident user of PowerPoint (ideally experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite too!)
• Self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks
