Steel Window Design is Australia's leading manufacturer of steel windows and doors. We work across both the residential and commercial sector, Australia wide. You will be based at our architecturally designed factory, showroom and office space in Preston and be the key customer facing role in our business.

Key responsibilities of the role

Sales and Customer Service

Answer phone calls and assist with client enquiries

Assist with showroom meetings with clients (extensive training will be provided on our product)

Client communication, including quote follow-ups and ensuring we have the correct client information

Administration

Set up all new projects in our system using Microsoft Office

Calculate and compile accurate cost estimates for projects using Microsoft Excel

Responsibility for vehicle and equipment repository

Create standard operating procedures and look for process improvement

Assist with the development of staff policies

Responsible for uniform distribution and stock levels

Responsible for managing client gifts

Required skills

A polite and friendly phone manner

Proactive attitude, always seeking to show initiative

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Attention to detail with a focus on time management

Comfortable taking direction while also having the ability to work autonomously

Punctual and reliable

Have a neat and tidy presentation

Open to learning new things

Experience in Xero and Smartsheet (advantageous but not essential, training will be provided)

Confidence and experience using the Microsoft office suite, especially Outlook and Excel (this is essential)
