Job Summary:
My client, a leading global Biotech, is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage a critical NSW territory. This strategic role is part of a growing team ahead of an exciting new product launch in the rare diseases space. The ideal candidate will have strong rare diesease experience, a passion for patient outcomes, and the ability to build deep relationships with key stakeholders across NSW.
Responsibilities:
Manage strategic relationships with hospital departments, and key healthcare providers across the assigned territory.
Develop and execute territory plans aligned with national brand strategies and business objectives.
Drive product uptake and market share growth for rare diseases -focused therapies through ethical and effective engagement.
Identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key decision-makers within rare disease clinics and hospitals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with medical, market access, marketing, and sales operations teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Educate healthcare professionals on the clinical benefits, mode of action, and appropriate use of the company’s rare diesease products.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and account performance to identify new opportunities or risks.
Qualifications:
Experience working in pharmaceutical/biotech industry
Experience working in complex, specialist-driven markets
Demonstrated ability to manage large, geographically diverse territories
Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
Commercial acumen with a results-driven approach
Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
