Business Development & Key Accounts Manager
Australian Diversified Engineering (ADE) design and manufacture solutions and find efficiencies, improve safety, and remove compromises in mining and industrial operations. Our product and support offer is comprehensive and we specialize in Spray systems, Haul Road Friction training, electrical harnesses, mobile equipment and fast fuel systems.
Over the past three decades ADE has developed strong relationships with many of Australia’s leading miners and contractors, as well as mining equipment manufacturers and their dealers operating both within Australia and overseas.
About the position:
This is a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager or Business Development Manager to join our sales team based in Brendale, North Brisbane. Reporting to the National Sales Manager and working alongside an experienced team, your focus will be driving business growth as well as managing a portfolio of key accounts.
Your business insight and drive for results will provide a solid foundation to proactively identify and generate new business opportunities by utilizing your industry contacts to engage and find solutions to their needs while nurturing long term existing client relationships ultimately driving growth and sales of ADE product and services.
The position, while based in Brendale is a national role and requires regular interstate travel. You will work closely with the Sales Manager, Commercial Manager and Territory Managers to execute sales strategies and marketing campaigns to maximize sales with both new and existing customers. You will also partner with the Procurement and Operations team for product and manufacturing lead times as well as the Engineering team on product development and support.
What we are looking for:
· A high level of business acumen and the ability to build and maintain relationships through developing new business and account management.
· Proven experience in sales generation and achieving financial targets with a hunger and passion for driving sales.
· Industry specific technical and functional skills relative to manufacturing, engineering or mining would be advantageous.
· A motivated professional with a high level of time management and strategic agility.
· A team player with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
· Intermediate computer skills, including the effective use of CRM software.
