Property Network of Australia is seeking a Centre Manager to work for a boutique provider who specialises in the management and advisory of property assets on behalf of publicly listed and private landlords. This position will manage an exceptional and recently redeveloped shopping centre in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs and anchored by major tenants.

This is a full-time permanent position, offering a circa $140k inclusive package.

We are looking for an individual with previous or current experience in a retail property environment, ideally within a Centre Manager or Retail Property Manager capacity. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of centre management, including operational performance, lease management, tenant relationships, financial control, and compliance with trust account and WHS requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous or existing experience working in a Centre Management role within the property industry, or exposure to working in a fast-paced dynamic retail environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day presentation, maintenance, and operations of the centre to ensure a high standard at all times.
• Manage financial performance including budgets, income and expenditure control, arrears management, and trust account compliance.
• Support leasing initiatives by canvassing local retailers and assisting the leasing team to maintain minimal vacancy rates.
• Conduct regular inspections, coordinate preventative maintenance, and supervise tenancy fitouts to ensure compliance with building objectives.
• Prepare monthly and annual reporting, including financial data, budget variances, arrears, and contractor performance.
• Build and maintain strong tenant relationships, responding to management matters professionally and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with WH&S obligations, insurance requirements, and risk management protocols.
• Assist in strategic planning, marketing strategy implementation, and broader business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong experience in retail property management or centre management, including leasing, budgeting, and tenant liaison.
• Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate or higher); exposure to Cirrus8 is desirable.
• A strong client-oriented approach with excellent negotiation and commercial property knowledge.
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
