With a 50+ year history, this Developer has proven itself highly capable of delivering residential, retail and commercial projects of exceptional quality and style across the nation. With an active and growing pipeline of Retail Investments, this group is seeking a skilled Retail Marketing Manager to join their boutique team, and support the Head of Marketing in managing their current Flagship Project in Melbournes South East - a Neighbourhood Shopping Centre, housing 45 specialty retailers and two anchor tenants.
This role will work directly with the group's Development Team as they embark on a full project facelift and re-brand. Initially focussing on the one retail asset, this role will manage the marketing strategy and branding for all future Retail projects and assets across Victoria. Ideally this role will be based out on site in the South East for 4 days of the week, with the 5th day based at the groups Melbourne CBD office (until such time that other projects/locations commence operation).
The Role:
- Assisting with the origination and coordination of the specific project and overall retail marketing strategy across a portfolio of existing and future retail developments
- Liaise with agencies and third-party suppliers to generate all marketing collateral across all channels for each project
- Planning and management of foot traffic-generating functions and events in collaboration with Centre Management and Leasing Agency
- Engage, provide support and manage the communication as well as roll out of all Marketing efforts with Retail Tenants and Management
- Analysing data from a variety of channels and prepare insightful reports for management, ensuring operation efficiency and income/leasing targets are consistently achieved
The Right Candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in property marketing (retail specific) either with another developer, creative agency, landlord or retail brand
- Proven abilities across both traditional and digital/social channels
- The understanding of how and the capability to produce exciting and innovative marketing strategies, plans, budgets and collateral
- To be a creative, strategic thinker with a passion for people and events
