As the Venue Operations Manager, you’ll be involved in setting up and running Side Piece Deli on a daily basis. You'll manage everything from staff recruitment and training to setting up systems and processes to ensuring smooth operations once we open our doors.

In this role, you’ll:

Play a key part in setting up the venue for success

Oversee pre-opening activities like staff recruitment, training, supplier onboarding, and operational setup

Lead the team and manage day-to-day operations once the doors open

Drive excellent customer service and help create a buzzing, welcoming vibe

Work closely with the leadership team to make Side Piece a neighbourhood favourite

We’re looking for someone who:

Has strong experience managing hospitality venues (café/restaurant background ideal)

Is super organised, proactive, and solutions-focused

Thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments

Loves great coffee, even better sandwiches, and building a positive team culture

Is available to start in July to help us gear up for an August launch
