The Role:
As Venue Manager / Front of House Manager, you'll oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service and maintaining our high standards. You’ll spend most of your time working on the floor alongside your team, leading by example. You'll manage, train, and inspire a talented FOH team, oversee bookings, handle guest inquiries and feedback, and ensure that every diner has a memorable experience.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead and actively participate in day-to-day FOH operations, ensuring efficiency and exceptional guest experiences.
Train, mentor, and manage FOH team members, creating a positive, supportive work environment.
Coordinate staff scheduling, performance management, and continuous training.
Handle customer reservations, inquiries, and feedback, and professionally resolve any complaints.
Achieve and monitor sales KPIs, focusing on maximising profitability and maintaining control over front-of-house COGS.
Collaborate closely with the kitchen and management team to maintain cohesive operations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
Manage stock and inventory control, including ordering and supplier relations related to FOH.
Contribute to marketing and promotional efforts to drive venue growth and customer loyalty.
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager in an extremely busy hospitality venue.
Proven experience in a Venue Manager, Front of House Manager, or similar leadership role.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
A passion for hospitality, customer service excellence, and team development.
Strong organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with restaurant management software and booking systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
