About the role
As the Venue Manager in Busselton, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our premier hospitality venue in the heart of this important south west hub. This is a full-time role, requiring on-site presence to ensure the smooth running of the venue and the delivery of an exceptional customer experience.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and oversee all aspects of venue operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, financial reporting, and health and safety compliance
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of hospitality professionals to deliver excellent customer service
- Implement and maintain effective systems and procedures to optimise venue efficiency and profitability
- Proactively identify and address any operational issues or concerns to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies that drive footfall and revenue
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, local authorities, and the local community
What we're looking for
- Substantial experience (3+ years) in a similar venue management role within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong financial acumen and business management skills, with the ability to analyse data and make informed decisions
- Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
