About the role

Join the dynamic team at The Boardwalk as a Venue Manager. In this full-time position, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant hospitality venue located in Dolphin Quay Marina, Mandurah. Your strategic leadership and exceptional people management skills will be crucial in ensuring the highest standards of customer service and financial performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage all aspects of venue operations, including staffing, inventory control, budgeting and financial reporting
  • Lead and motivate a team of hospitality professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and profitability
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work culture and provide ongoing coaching and development for staff
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive revenue through promotions and events
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in a venue management role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational excellence
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers, staff and stakeholders
  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field would be highly regarded
