About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Production Manager. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the efficient and timely production of company products, ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence. You will play a key role in creating a work environment where safety is a top priority and continuous improvement is encouraged across all aspects of the business. Other key responsibilities include:
· Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets and customer demand.
· Coordinate with various branches and departments such as supply chain, warehouse and quality assurance to ensure smooth production processes.
· Manage and supervise production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
· Monitor production processes and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
· Oversee inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
· Collaborate with maintenance teams to address equipment maintenance and repair needs.
· Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
· Analyse production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
· Develop and maintain production reports and documentation for management review.
About You:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)
· Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
· Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
· Certification in production management or related field is a plus.
· Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· In-depth knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality standards.
· Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office applications.
· Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Experience with change management
· Strong organisational and time management skills.
