About the Role
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving the company's commercial sales strategy across Melbourne.
The role requires industry knowledge, a strong commercial acumen, and proven ability to win and deliver large projects from tender to delivery.
- Lead commercial growth strategy, reporting directly to the MD
- Oversee performance of residential and commercial sales teams, ensuring KPI and revenue targets are met
- Develop and implement supplier agreements to onboard new clients
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, finance, production, service) to align operations with commercial goals
- Drive market research, customer training, and brand positioning initiatives
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years background in building materials, windows & doors, or construction supply
- Proven success in account management, business development, and securing supply agreements
- Capable of guiding sales teams and aligning departments with commercial goals
- Strong understanding of KPIs, ROI, cost structures, and commercial reporting
- Skilled in negotiation, client onboarding, and internal training
