Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting sales teams and delivering exceptional customer service? We're looking for a Sales & Customer Support Admin to join our dynamic Foodservice Team and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across our national sales network.
Australian citizenship is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Sales Support & CRM Management
Assist our National Senior Foodservice Sales team with day-to-day tasks.
Maintain and update our Capsule CRM systems with accurate customer data, daily.
Communicate with customers as required, for their order status, delivery delay updates, and general enquiries; working closely with our internal operations teams.
Outbound & Inbound Sales Calls
Make outbound calls to prospective or existing Foodservice customers to promote our widening product range.
Handle inbound Foodservice inquiries and convert leads into sales opportunities.
Lead Generation & Qualification
Qualify leads by understanding the customers specific needs, interests, and purchase readiness.
Product Knowledge & Presentation
Develop a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.
Present features, benefits, and pricing clearly to customers over the phone.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Handling Customer Concerns
Address customer concerns promptly and effectively, same day (where possible).
Follow-up & After-Sales Service
Follow up with customers for feedback, or upselling opportunities.
Ensure a smooth onboarding or delivery process post-sale.
Documentation
Update and maintain customer pricing and customer information databases with accurate information.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
Team Collaboration
Work with transport, operations, sales and customer service teams to improve internal and external customer experience.
Share insights from customer interactions to help refine sales strategies.
Skills & Experience Required
Communication Skills
Clear, confident, and gently-persuasive verbal communication.
Strong listening skills and a professional phone manner.
Ability to build trust and maintain customer interest.
Sales Skills
Ability to present product benefits and value propositions.
Upselling and cross-selling capabilities.
Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience is required.
Customer Service Skills
Empathy, patience, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle difficult or indecisive customers calmly, and timely.
Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience is required.
Organisational Skills
Accurate typing and data entry.
Multitasking and time management to maximise productivity.
Personal & Professional Qualities
Autonomy and self-motivation.
Task-oriented and adaptable to different customer personalities.
Additional Skills
Basic computer literacy (MS Office).
CRM Experience (Capsule; desirable)
