The Shire of Plantagenet’s Library and Community Resource Centre Officer role is about community, connection and creating a welcoming space for all. Our Library / CRC is a vibrant community hub and we’re looking for an Officer who loves frontline customer service and wants to be part of something meaningful.

About the Role

You’ll be one of the first faces people see when they walk into the Community Resource Centre.

You will:

Create a warm, inclusive experience for every customer

Help customers with Library borrowing, reservations, memberships and questions

Support events, promotions and community programs

Assist community members with tech enquiries and issues

Help manage the Community Resource Centre space, including Room Bookings and promotions.

This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same and your ability to multitask will be invaluable.

About You

We want someone who:

Genuinely enjoys working with people and brings a positive, flexible attitude

Has strong customer service skills and handles challenging interactions with calm and care

Is organised, tech-savvy and detail-focused

Works well in a team, including with volunteers

Has a C-Class Driver’s Licence and can obtain a National Police Clearance

Salary: $32.92 per hour, 12% superannuation and co-contributions of up to 5%, four weeks annual leave including 17.5% leave loading, plus other benefits.
