About the Role

Join the Shire of Dowerin’s dynamic team as a Customer Service and Events Officer (Casual). In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of the Dowerin Community Resource Centre, supporting community engagement, assisting with local programs, delivering exceptional customer service, and helping to coordinate community and tourism events that showcase Dowerin’s vibrant community spirit.

This position is currently casual, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate as operational needs evolve.

About You

You are enthusiastic, community-minded, and customer-focused. You bring:

Strong administrative and customer service skills

Excellent communication and attention to detail

Confidence in managing enquiries and assisting with community programs and events

A proactive attitude and passion for helping others

Experience in a similar role and familiarity with office technology (Microsoft Office, email, internet, printers, etc.) will be highly regarded. A C Class driver’s licence, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) are required.
