Tait Auto Group is one of the largest Multi-franchised Dealers in the North Western NSW and QLD supplying Toyota, Holden, Nissan, Ford, Mahindra motor vehicles, Hino trucks, Steel and Manufacturing of Trays throughout Australia and proudly employ over 100 staff from the local area.
Tait Auto Group provides mobility solutions through the sales of vehicles, 4x4s, commercials and light trucks to the community along with a wide range of other businesses and industry sectors including Mining, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Construction and Government.
We also provide Servicing and maintenance of vehicles and light trucks, parts and accessory sales and fitment for not only the retail but also trade clients, towing and breakdown facilities, Finance, Insurance and Leasing options, and detailing solutions.

The Role:
The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the New Vehicle Department, ensuring top level Guest Experience & profitability.
You will be in charge of a small team and responsible in driving a positive work environment and performance.
Increase Guest satisfaction using effective retention strategies and attending to Guest complaints
Achieve monthly targets as set out by the dealership and Franchises
Communicate regularly with the Pre-delivery Managers to ensure on time deliveries
Monitor Sales productivity and efficiency, seeking methods of improvement ensuring processes and compliance are followed
Drive growth
Conduct daily catch-ups with Manager to ensure key performance indicators (gross profit, targets and expenses) are being met
Ensuring full compliance of the department alongside management
Skills and Qualifications:
MUST have at least 2 years experience as a People Manager
Toyota experience preferable
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
Effective communication and customer service skills with experience dealing with complex cases
Ability to develop the teams skills and technical knowledge
Time management and prioritising skills
Ability to maximise the resources available and think strategically
Technical knowledge of Motor Vehicles
An eye for profitability and marketing– the ability to set targets and report on departmental expenses
Computer literate - Ability to produce reports and analyse data
