Autobiography is a well-established Australian building and development company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. We are expanding our leadership team and seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development Manager with proven expertise in sales growth, client acquisition and business development to strengthen our presence in the Australian property development and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead business development initiatives to identify and secure new clients, investors, and strategic partners.
· Drive sales performance, market expansion, and revenue growth across targeted regions.
· Develop and implement strategies to expand company reach into new markets.
· Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting to support business growth.
· Build and manage strategic relationships with leading industry specialists and overseas suppliers, ensuring access to high-quality materials and innovative solutions.
· Develop long-term partnerships with international suppliers to strengthen the company’s global procurement strategy and support sustainable project delivery.
· Apply a cultural and market-driven understanding of high-growth cities (e.g., Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other international hubs) to identify parallels and opportunities in Australia’s urban development landscape.
· Identify and advise on emerging growth areas in Australia by leveraging global market knowledge and adapting proven international strategies.
· Report directly to senior management on business performance, opportunities, and challenges.
Skills & Experience Required
· Strong background in building and scaling client bases and managing high-value accounts.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
· Expertise in developing and managing strategic relationships with leading industry specialists and international suppliers.
· Proven track record in success in closing high-value deals and driving revenue growth.
· Ability to analyse market trends and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
· International business exposure with strong understanding of diverse growing markets.
· Experience working in international markets, with the ability to adapt strategies to local environments.
