Finlay are looking for a HR Administration & Safety Officer to manage and continuously improve HR administrative operations, ensuring efficient employee processes including onboarding, offboarding, and workforce transitions. This role is responsible for coordinating compliance-driven training programs, promoting a culture of safety and maintaining adherence to industry regulations and company standards.
HR Administration
Administering all HR records on Finlay’s HR Platform.
Onboarding / Offboarding
Collaborative development of training plans for all staff and execution using Finlay’s Learning Management System (LMS)
Development of training courses using the LMS system and external resources as required
Safety General
Monitor and ensure compliance around completion of Take 5s and risk assessments
Gap analysis of training/licensing for unskilled staff and manage accordingly
Spot Safety checks – All sites
Record, maintain and issue training for all Finlay Staff - relevant to their dept and frequency
Attend monthly Toolbox meetings
Safety Committee Meetings - (agenda, minutes, complete remedial actions if required)
First aid management
PPE
Onboarding safety training
OHS Management
Safe Work Instructions
Risk Assessments
Incident investigations and reporting
Conduct investigations and compile reports
Raise Safety Alerts and any subsequent training/remedial actions
