Accounts Receivable & Sales Operations Specialist (Part-Time | Maternity Leave Cover)
Location: Head Office – Sydney Olympic Park (WFH on an as-needed basis)
Employment Type: Part-Time (3 days per week, flexible structure across 5 days)
Contract: Fixed Term – Minimum 8 months (Maternity Leave Cover)
$80,000 - $85,000 per year, plus Super, pro rata over 3 days

About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Sales Operations professional to join MYBOS on a part-time maternity leave cover contract (minimum 8 months).
This role plays a key part in managing billing, subscriptions, and accounts receivable processes, while supporting financial reconciliation and reporting. You'll also provide light administrative support across HR, payroll coordination, and employee engagement activities.
We offer flexibility in how you work your hours — the role is 3 days per week, and you can choose to spread your hours across 5 days if preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Finance Operations
Manage customer billing, invoicing, and credit control processes.
Generate and send invoices through Chargebee and Xero.
Reconcile subscription transactions and customer payments in Xero and Chargebee.
Monitor overdue accounts, issue late payment notices, and communicate payment reminders through the MYBOS software portal.
Manage customer cancellations, including coordinating final invoices, refunds (if applicable), and account closure in Chargebee.
Collaborate with external accountants to ensure accurate and timely end-of-month reconciliation.
Support the Head of Operations with monthly financial reporting.
Sales Operations
Review new customer account setups by Sales Operations, ensuring data accuracy and correct subscription configuration.
Maintain customer records and update payment or account details when required.
Liaise with the Sales and Onboarding teams to ensure a seamless handover from Sales to Onboarding.
Support reporting on subscription metrics, renewals, cancellations, and billing adjustments.
HR & Administrative Support
Maintain and update employee information in HR systems.
Support payroll preparation by collating leave summaries.
Assist in onboarding and offboarding administrative processes.
Assist with coordinating and booking employee engagement and team-building activities.
Provide light administrative assistance to the Head of Operations as needed.
About You
Essential:
Proven experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration, or Sales Operations.
Working knowledge of Xero and Chargebee (or similar subscription/billing systems).
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Must possess Australian work rights or valid working visa with no sponsorship required.
Desirable:
Experience in SaaS or technology business environments.
Understanding of HR systems or payroll processes.
Familiarity with reconciliation processes and general accounting principles.
