We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Junior Accounts Receivable Officer to join a growing specialist accommodation provider with a strong presence across Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Adelaide. Your new role

As a member of the small team, you will work closely with senior finance to ensure accurate receipting, reconciliation, and follow-up of payments. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation of accounting knowledge with experience in Accounts Receivables. Reporting to the AR Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and submitting claims in collaboration with the tenancy team.
• Downloading and organising payment remittance files.
• Reconciling receipts within CX and performing bank reconciliations in Xero.
• Investigating and documenting discrepancies, escalating where necessary.
• Performing general administrative tasks to support the finance team.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and internal procedures.
  
  
  

What you'll need to succeed:

• A strong experience in accounts receivable.
• Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or currently studying).
• Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and credit principles.
• Experience with Xero and CX / Civica systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
